About Us

We are Paul and Pauline Aslin. We are beekeepers, managing about 40 colonies in Southern Snowdonia. We acquired our first colony in 2001 and it wasn’t long before we were selling honey to friends and neighbours and then Pauline started to experiment with the wax, making beeswax polish and candles. She soon developed some simple skin cream recipes which proved extremely popular and caused the hobby to develop steadily into a small business. Now trading as “Trees and Bees” we produce a range of beeswax products which we sell alongside our honey at farmers’ markets, fairs and other local outlets as well as online.
